Best of all, it's works for those who have sensitive skin too. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_qJzkx-SiCI/YGAnlexEB2I/AAAAAAAAJ0o/TgSqO8fx_08gtTZWDz7KeBh7gjupYnf3wCLcBGAsYHQ/image2.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_qJzkx-SiCI/YGAnlexEB2I/AAAAAAAAJ0o/TgSqO8fx_08gtTZWDz7KeBh7gjupYnf3wCLcBGAsYHQ/w300-h400/image2.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This Polaar moisturiser has a slight scent to it, nothing major. Absorbs fairly quickly and doesn't leave a tacky feeling on the skin. Personally, I still haven't decided whether I like this more on the skin as a moisturiser or a base before makeup. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1HLRguK4roM/YGAnle0MDsI/AAAAAAAAJ0w/DvSGyw6-81wa61-P9Dchv6L-nKQ8Z-sXACLcBGAsYHQ/image1.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1HLRguK4roM/YGAnle0MDsI/AAAAAAAAJ0w/DvSGyw6-81wa61-P9Dchv6L-nKQ8Z-sXACLcBGAsYHQ/w300-h400/image1.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It's been the longest time before I've actually tried any bars of soap. There was another cucumber soap in the Beauty Box as well but I still haven't had the chance to try it yet either. I've always had that phobia that soap is relatively unhygienic when others will use it too. I will definitely update about this. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nKOfjFX99Vo/YGAnlqCpzlI/AAAAAAAAJ0s/y8rPC9Z9ps0uzkfChbEP5MqRqcDn4FuyACLcBGAsYHQ/image0.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nKOfjFX99Vo/YGAnlqCpzlI/AAAAAAAAJ0s/y8rPC9Z9ps0uzkfChbEP5MqRqcDn4FuyACLcBGAsYHQ/w300-h400/image0.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Bloom & Blossom's Wonder Works Multi Tasking Balm. <br />I've got very chapped lips from all the medication I take and I have that unhealthy habit of biting my low lips till it either bleeds or the surface skin is ripped. Please don't do what I do, but this has helped with the surface of my lips for the time being. Nonesticky, it sinks into my skin pretty quickly, as this is also a multi use balm, I can use it anywhere on my skin and body too. Great product for future travelling. My thoughts are also how well it will skin under makeup. This could be a good candidate for very dry winter months. </div><br /><br /></div><div><br /></div>Stephanie Silv. There's always this talk between beauty experts and lovers that this particular product is "always nice to have but not a must". <br /><br />Would you agree? <br /><br />Most would say it's worth it if it's treated as a treatment on the skin.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My first time ever using this brand - Odacite </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Rose + Neroli Hydra- Vitalizing Treatment Mist. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I do have combination skin but since it's winter, I can get dryer on certain areas around my face. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Frist impression- </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">A definite rosy scent but not too over whelming. One of the key notes that will be detected is more of a bitter accent, I'm guessing that would be the neroli and after doing a little research. Neroli is the bitters of orange blossom. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I think it was a dud spray bottle I had, because I ended up having a droplet line down my face.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Hydrating? Not sure if it added hydration to my skincare routine or not. It claims to help with balancing skin's pH levels and minimise the appearance of pores if you use it after cleansing. I've been using this product since the first week of December and I can truthfully say, it did not help my pores in such ways. Then again, always need to remember that pores are pores. You can't exactly tighten pores just by misting. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">For me, this is really a nice mist but I don't feel like it's strong enough to be a treatment. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Mists/ toners are always nice to have but never a must. </div> <p></p>Stephanie Silv. I have this written much simpler in my recipe book but I'll break a few things down for you just in case you're questioning. <br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These are great for holidays gifting, serving after a dinner party or just a snack for yourself during the day.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i_qJIKqqk5A/X_V37Z1-hHI/AAAAAAAAJvk/HR3Ap3FyeuUakDNFhfYH3KohLCcpvzSBgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/image2.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i_qJIKqqk5A/X_V37Z1-hHI/AAAAAAAAJvk/HR3Ap3FyeuUakDNFhfYH3KohLCcpvzSBgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/image2.jpeg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">1) First step I always do, gather up all the ingredients!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 150g Sugar</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 125ml Oil (vegetable/ olive oil)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 2 Eggs (medium)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- ¾ tsp Almond Extract</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 120g Whole Raw Nuts (Chopped lightly) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 65g Dried Fruit/ Chocolate</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 270g Plain Flour</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- 2tsp Baking Powder </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- ½ tsp Salt </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">- ½ tsp Nutmeg</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">(Extra- 1 Egg whisked with 2 tsp water for brushing)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Then Pre-heat the oven : 165℃</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Line a baking tray with a parchment paper or using a silicone one, your choice. </div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">* NOTE- I change the types of nuts, dry fruits and chocolate depending on my mood and taste that day or whatever I have in the pantry too. Since I haven't been posting much on here, there are no excuses apart from me having to say I have been going in and out the hospital as usual. This year's timing it's very much like a roller coaster ride. Just like any other ones for me. <br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p></p><div style="text-align: center;">I do wish you all the best in health and happiness, despite all that's happened this year. </div><div style="text-align: center;">We can all get through this together </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Have a Happy New Year</div><p></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;">S x</p>Stephanie Silv. I have had this written over 2020 and looking back, we were all in a dark place and the I've been looking back at photos to remember the best times in life. I'm just sad that I don't have enough photos with "someone" that I can look back at with. Its also a shame I can't share that same memories either. </p><p style="text-align: center;">This post could turn out to be quite sporadic as I'm trying to fit all in. </p><p style="text-align: center;">For one, at the end of 2019 when I stopped blogging, it shock me. I was in pain again, like I couldn't walk because of my diagnoses from my back operation - Spinal Arteriovenous Malformation (Spinal AVM). Turns out, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Not going to lie, I was at the darkest hole I could be again in life, thinking to myself "Could I get anymore illness than I already do?" (As if I don't have enough medical history as is... Well, on the brighter side of things... at least I'm a rare miracle case whom is still here typing this to remind myself how blessed I am to have my family's support in all aspects of life & from all around the world too. </p><p style="text-align: center;">2020 definitely has been a crappy one. Curse it if you will. Scream if it makes you feel better. Cry it out. I did alot of crying cause I feel so helpless not being able to work and hopeless in life not being able to walk or do anything properly with legs, fingers and joints that doesn't feel like mine anymore. </p><p></p><div style="text-align: center;">Everyones taken this year differently. Sad not being about to see others. Happy to stay at home more often to spend time with family. Bored out of our minds trying to find something to do other than work and house work. Social life has been on a halt for the best for everyone. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">It kina angers me to see people travelling for leisure purposes. Just making the whole matter worse than it already is. I do often wonder, is it so hard to just stay put in one place for now, while (everyone included) the rest of the world manages to control the current spread. I can't help but think, high risk patients like myself, elderly, children in need can do with people not travel for a year to help NOT spread any more as a carrier (if they are). Been a hermit enough as is, got to make the most of it though right? </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">SO! being a hermit at home isn't as bad as you think. It sounds bad that's all but feeling safe and at ease at home is a blessing. Since being back in Hong Kong, I've managed to clear some clothing out from the wardrobe that I've had since I was a kid too. Making food at home is always a pleasure. Building model figures and potter around the flat to reorganise and minimise. There's no schedule to get everything done all at once. Just a little at a time. To be honest, I've been trying to down size my personal makeup collection as well. As one will always say, you don't need this much but it's nice to have them right? </div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I can't change the things that has already happened, I can't change the fact that I've got the challenges and obstacles I have to face. Keep telling yourself: You can change what's happening on the day as it comes your way. </div><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>Stephanie Silv. It's been weird with the pandemic going on and staying at home. You'd think one who writes online most of the time would be able to come up with something more. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Hopefully this will be a boost for myself to keep it up too </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">SO! This August, I've kindly been gifted a Beauty Box by Look Fantastic. Here's what you'll get in one of two of the boxes they have. </div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img height="640" id="id_e146_f77b_5795_9de6" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/06QDgRTrkn_koDjOON43QlwVCKuO4cIFMQtafcyMhwgqBMdsQTYph6wi9wUrukU=w480-h640" style="height: auto; width: 353px;" tooltip="" width="480" /></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img height="640" id="id_1081_af3_a657_fac0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/DEIImoswBdYpmGr-GEY4V0mrCFYjlRDs1ojoJg5zGGGpthzEHjc3R15yD1uWuoo=w360-h640" style="height: auto; width: 353px;" tooltip="" width="360" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><u><b>August Beauty Box</b></u></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Bellapierre : Cosmetics Mineral Blush (Amaretto) </b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I have tried the finishing loose powder years ago when I first heard of this brand and it's still one of their best selling products. Interested to see what the blush is like, the color is slightly daunting for fair skin just looking at it. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Caudalie : Vinoperfect Radiance Serum </b><br />I've always been a fan of this brands products, have not tried this before. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Eyeko : Lash Alert Mascara</b><br />Personally, waterproof mascara is the way to go for my oily lids and watery eyes. However, this is a well known brand that has not failed it's expectations. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Ahava : Deadsea Water Mineral Body Lotion</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I have already tried this and I do like how quickly this absorbs into the skin. Though, I'm not too keen with the scent of the lotion but the smell does dissipates after a little while. With this sample, I've managed to get ALMOST three days worth of product. I would recommend this as a summer product more as I do have dry skin, it doesn't feel like it's enough to last the day. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Mio : Sun-drenched Body Wash</b><br />Friends have recommended this brand to me before and I'm quite excited to try this out soon. It says it's citrusy scent and subtle shimmer. Formulated with Indian Fig Extract and Monk's Pepper Berry for an instant soothing effect. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Percy & Reed : Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm </b></div><div style="text-align: center;">Another product that I had to break into once I opened the box this month. This is a primer for hair, used alone or before styling hair. I went in the product with damp hair as I normally do. Try not to use too much of the product, a pound coin will be more than enough for shoulder length hair like mine. Otherwise, my hair did turn a bit too hard and crunchy to style.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=733963&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Fbeauty-box%2Flookfantastic-beauty-box-subscription%2F11140463.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">CLICK HERE<br />to get your AUGUST Beauty Box </a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">If you're interested in the new Limited Edition Beauty Bo<span style="font-family: inherit;">x (Worth <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">£80)</span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><em style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Ritual of Jing Body Scrub (70ml) </em><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;" /><em style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Ritual of Jing Hand Lotion (70ml)</em><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;" /><em style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Ritual of Jing Shower Oil (200ml)</em><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;" /><em style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Ritual of Jing Pillow Mist (50ml)</em><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;" /><em style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Ritual of Jing Scented Candle</em><br style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;" /><em style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: roboto, robotodraft, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The Ritual of Jing Body Cream (220ml)</em></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img height="232" src="https://ci6.googleusercontent.com/proxy/ebRblJn7iEAhqnxNRVcRXTYl0XyQFOZLEWoSEA-Npcsmw94x5NM0MaP7H9cDiRb_bLXQ0zzujHidSm34BeNORDCyB_-LODPx-a3X2FE38cDfvnACFl2uGNivFtSU7kONjM0Nm4_JCxUVc8a3F6kNMsUecxD9Dg=w640-h232" width="640" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=733963&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Fbeauty-box%2Flookfantastic-x-rituals-limited-edition-beauty-box-worth-80%2F12658864.html" target="_blank">LOOKFANTASTIC x RITUALS Limited Edition Beauty Box </a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=733963&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Fbeauty-box%2Flookfantastic-x-rituals-limited-edition-beauty-box-worth-80%2F12658864.html" target="_blank">CLICK HERE</a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Discount Code : RITUALSNEWSUB</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">*Subscriber discount is only valid with link provided </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div> </div>Stephanie Silv. <span style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tY1O7lAle3g/XkIJ9XVAV3I/AAAAAAAAJfE/44ElO1gaxe0j_5VJs8Ehz0Bydbgu9pNBQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Photo%2B19-1-2020%252C%2B9%2B31%2B38%2BAM.jpg" /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I've always loved to use an exfoliator product to scrub off my dead skin and excess dirt that's been in my skin after applying so much makeup on during the week.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
Putting into some research into skincare itself, I found myself looking for AHA (Alpha Hydrox Acid) & BHA (Beta Hydrozy/ Salicylic Acid) products. It mainly helps gently exfoliate build up of dead skin and evens out the texture of skin.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Additionally, reading so much into it, it claims to improve on the look of wrinkles, firmer and hydrated skin. <span style="font-family: inherit;">Personally, I would say this would be more suitable for combination skin. This maybe a little stripping for those with drier skin but if you really do want to try I really won't use it too often. On the other side for oily skin, I don't think it's strong enough to keep oils at bay. Why I say that?</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="text-align: start;">So my verdict, is to concentrate it where you really need it.</span></span><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Even though I have combination skin, I did try it like it says on the tin "Daily AHA Tonic". After using it everyday for at least two weeks, my typical T-zone didn't seem to have reduced it oil. Using it everyday (day and night) I found parts of my drier skin, like my cheeks and jaw area very drying. Aside from those, it does leave my skin with a bit of a glow </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">For <span style="background-color: white;">£27.00 and 250mls of product</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;">I use maximum 3 pumps each time I get any product onto a cotton pad and applying it onto my skin. This may not apply to everyone, I am not too much of a fan of products with too many ingredients highly concentrated with citrus scents, oils or extracts, this maybe an issue for those who have sensitive skin.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="background-color: white;">*I'm not a skin expert but this is what I can tell you from what I have personally experienced. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></span></div>

<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Nvd90-KHJgs/XjurOJRt7PI/AAAAAAAAJdo/phMkgAwmW7wE4vrBFyXhYkGXpCMYsHXHACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Photo%2B6-2-2020%252C%2B11%2B32%2B43%2BAM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Nvd90-KHJgs/XjurOJRt7PI/AAAAAAAAJdo/phMkgAwmW7wE4vrBFyXhYkGXpCMYsHXHACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Photo%2B6-2-2020%252C%2B11%2B32%2B43%2BAM.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's been a while since I've posted any beauty related looks here and everything has been on instagram. It has been a nice change to see that different people do prefer different platforms.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
SO! To create this look, I've only used two main products.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Makeup Forever Ultra HD Concealer</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
&</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Shu Uemura Matte Supreme MPK02 Liquid Lipstick</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Starting with my base, no foundation, with only concealer where it is only needed, mainly around my eyes and jaw area. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've only used the smallest dot of product (being very literal here) onto my eyelids and blended that as quickly as I could before the product sets. Concentrating most on the eyelid and blended it upwards to get more of a transitional look. Since I have the typical Asian eyes, I do have more space to play with. Could have blended it even further to my brows too. I then used an eyeliner brush and created my usual winged eyeliner. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I mixed a dab of liquid lipstick onto my hand and mixed it with some concealer on the side to get the colour tone that I wanted. It's soft, it's pink, can't go wrong with a dolly's cheeks. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Lips. I put a little product onto the centre of my lips and blended it out with my finger tips, I normally pout and push the product in to give that "I've been kissed alot lips look". My lips are pretty dry at the moment and you can see patches of skin is because I have that annoying habit of biting my lower lip ( any time of the day), especially when I'm thinking what's needed to be done next. </div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finish off with powder where you needed, mascara of your choice.<br />
Perhaps a little bit of a sparkle in the centre of your lids to give a bit of bling.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Create the look to suit yourself.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

To make these Apple Roses, this was the original recipe I followed.</div>
I've tweaked it since and you can do the same according to your own liking.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As usual, gather all ingredients first before starting, makes life a lot easier instead of having to go find certain things around the kitchen. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u><b>Ingredients </b></u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">2-3 Large Red Apples</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">3 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Lemon Juice</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">1/4 tsp Salt</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">3 tbsp Apricot Jam </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">1-2 tbsp Sugar (Brown, White or Coconut)</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Pinch of Nutmeg</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">1 sheet Puff Pastry</li>
</ul>
<div>
Others- </div>
<div>
Flour</div>
<div>
Muffin Pan or Muffin Cases </div>
<div>
Optional: Powder Sugar for decoration</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Method</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li style="text-align: left;">Preheat oven to 180°C</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Core apples an slice them as thin as possible </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Place thin apple slices into a bowl with 1 tbsp melted butter, lemon juice and salt in a bowl and toss to coat evenly</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">You can spread apples on baking sheet in a single layer and bake<br />OR<br />Microwave the apples in a microwave safe bowl<br />OR<br />Stew them in a pot for 10 mins till soften on low to medium heat<br />(I tend to use this method when I have a lot to make) </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Use 1 tbsp of butter to grease the muffin tins<br />OR<br />you can use muffin cases. I find this easier for kids or parties. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg in a bowl, set aside</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">On a lightly floured counter, roll pull pastry into 12 x 10 inches rectangle with short side parallel towards yourself. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Cut pastry into 6 long strips </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Brush the puff pastry with apricot jam & sprinkle it with sugar cinnamon, nut meg mix. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Working on a strip at a time, place 10-12 slices of apples (peel side OUT) over lapping each other, leaving a boarder of dough along the bottom. FOLD the bottom inch of dough onto the apples, leaving the top apple slices exposed. Using the rest of the butter, lightly brush the bottom pastry and toll the dough into a pinwheel from one end to another. Place directly into the muffin pan or muffin case. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Bake for 40- 45 minutes until golden brow<br />If the top of the apples are starting to brown too quickly, just add a tin foil to cover the top, this will stop the apple petals from burning. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Let cool and serve. </li>
</ol>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've added some photos below, so you can see the process. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
2019 was a weird year for me.<br />Seems to me that everyone has been doing some sort of decade dedicated post. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As for mine, it's not been the most cheerful one but yet, it's been filled with opportunities where even I can't deny it has been an experience.<br /><br />10 years, 5 illnesses with constant monitoring. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Working with a few of the best people in the industry from fashion to film and tv, that was more than just an eye opening experience. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Blessed to have had all these all year round.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wishing you all a very<br />HAPPY NEW YEAR!<br /><br />Hope the new 2020 will bring even more happiness with great health. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wonder what's coming next. </div>

<br />
The one year that I didn't write anything is the year and time that my health takes a down fall. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We all have ups and downs of course and it just happens to be my turn to have that little dip down after having so much high working non-stop.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Remember, it's okay to tumble on the way.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course, take care of yourself as much as you can. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Break when you need to</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Stop when there's been too much GO GO GO </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Learnt my lesson yet again when my body says no and I ignored the signs</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Is there such thing as overdoing when you're so use to it? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Maybe?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Nonetheless,<br />
Just remember,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love yourself. </div>

<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hKq6cY7N6aE/W8NPvJdah3I/AAAAAAAAJBI/Gz2Bxfo-5GguxrQeou-pnExC-7fGHeuGQCLcBGAs/s1600/3f1499acce415d8d19cab1828f6c05ff.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="564" data-original-width="564" height="640" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hKq6cY7N6aE/W8NPvJdah3I/AAAAAAAAJBI/Gz2Bxfo-5GguxrQeou-pnExC-7fGHeuGQCLcBGAs/s640/3f1499acce415d8d19cab1828f6c05ff.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One thing I have learnt over these 5 years living with cancer.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In my case, it won't completely be cleared or cured </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
BUT<br />Just live with it.<br />All We Have Is Now</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't write anything for my 4th Year here, there's no excuse.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have had the hardest time being inspired, creative and even trying to motivate myself in my terms.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
From then till now,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
"life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Some days were too sweet, some days bitter, some just mellow, some even sour and sharp.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Kind of does some up many things through these couples of years that I've been through.<br />Of course, thanking everyone around me that supports me, I am so blessed that I have so many people in my life that not only supports what I do for my career, life but most importantly, mentally. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It has been a major subject to talk about these couple of years where alot of bloggers you read or vloggers you watch about our mental health. Without denying, it is important to have a good back support. Keep those close to you who support and love you, leave those behind who don't care and only takes advantages. These two things have been the top 5 things that has taught me over these 5 short years. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Live the life you want and strive for it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I always try to strive for the better and work as hard as I can.<br />There will be people who will bring you down.<br />There will always be more of those who will take you to joy of various heights. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
5 years with cancer (and a very rare type too)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Having to know that I've literally been turned into a case study, I'm okay with it.<br />Honestly, if the research for my illness can bring better treatments to those who have it in the future, I'm willing to give all that I can and support to the medical team.<br /><br />Blessed and won't ramble on any longer.<br />After what's happened 5 years ago.<br />Definitely say that I'm very lucky to be alive and to have met so many new and great friends surrounded with love, laughter and full of life.<br /><br />Just remind yourself like I try to everyday.<br />Take each day and each thing as it comes.<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I've been using this Weleda: Skin Food cream for a while now. Even if it's for dry and rough skin, it gives a great base for the makeup without feeling too heavy or sticky. It gives an instant glow too after applying it. Smooth and easy to blend on the skin too.<br /><br />Personally, I use it on myself and clients. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've tried to use this as a highlighter as well and it works wonders in this summer heat!<br />A little does go a very long way so if you have oily skin, I would suggest using a wee dollop and blend on the highest points on the face. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The one thing I can't stand myself of in the winter days, is that dryness I have from the bitter cold weather outdoors to the blazing hot heat indoors. Now that spring is almost here, I can say that this <a href="https://www.origins.co.uk/product/15346/11647/skincare/treat/mask/drink-up-intensive/overnight-mask-to-quench-skins-thirst" target="_blank">Origins: Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask</a> saved my skin from looking patchy, especially after having makeup on all day.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Why I love it is because it's not greasy or sticky. I absolutely disliked some overnight masks where I wake up with my hair stuck to my face because of the product and as well as my pillowcases. With this Overnight Mask, it just feels like cream you've put on after cleansing your face before going to bed. If you do feel like you've got too much on, you can always blot it off with tissue which I find it very useful. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I use this at least once a week to keep my skin hydrated. I tend to use it when I know I won't have enough sleep or haven't had enough water during the day. One of the best thing with Origins is, there aren't many products where I don't like the scent of it. So, after washing it off in the morning, my skin feels very smooth and soft. Makeup then always looks so much better when your skin is hydrated.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
People ask me how I apply masks in these types of big squeezey tubes. I like to use an old flat brush (like a foundation brush that I won't use anymore) then slowly brush it over my skin. That way I can see how much product I directly put on the brush. If not, just make sure your hands are nice and clean before you apply the mask onto your face. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Last but not least, because I can travel a lot because of work, I can easily depot it into a smaller tube or pots when ever I need it. The best place I would recommend for these is MUJI. It will become one of your favorite travel container store like me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you've tried this product, let me know what you think too.<br />
Please do let me know if there are other products you'd like me to try out too! </div>

A little while ago, I bought the Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Beauty <a href="http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/hollywood-beauty-light-wand-highlighter.html" target="_blank">Light Wand (Highlighter)</a> and the Contour Wand.<br />
As much as I love some of her products, being honest, the Highlighter is amazing. Like the <a href="http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/wonderglow.html" target="_blank">Wonderglow</a>, you can use it before and after foundation. Personally, I do prefer the finishing texture of the <a href="http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/wonderglow.html" target="_blank">Wonderglow</a> more but of course, to get that highlighted look, then go for it.<br />
<br />
Now, when it came to using the <a href="http://www.charlottetilbury.com/uk/hollywood-contour-wand-light-medium.html" target="_blank">Contour Wand (I have it in Light to Medium)</a>, it did take me a while to get use to it because of how much more fluid it is comparing to a cream colour I use daily. It does set once it's blended, it can be used without powder on top of it. Because I do have my makeup on all day without touching up, I tend to use a powder contour to go over it so it lasts longer. Colourwise, Light - Medium is more of an ashy tone, it does give a very natural look. I will say though, the amount of contour I use is alot more than highlight, so for it's price, I do find it more expensive however, it's great for travelling and lightweight!<br />
<br />
The only problem I really had was to remember to twist the top part of the sponge to close it, otherwise, I had a bit of a highlight and contour spillage all in the cap and makeup bag. Basically, remember to twist to open and close the product if you're not using it!<br />
<br />

Personally, I love a good long wear of a lipstick or liquid lip, so that I don't need to worry too much about the smudging or colouration as constant especially after having a coffee or two on the go all the time. There are many other brands but these are just the few that have been long wearing and available for me to use. </div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">I came across this little café from viewing one of the random collective
photos you get on Instagram. On this glorious day through the winter seasons,
the sun decided to come out before the rain poured over the weekend. I will say
though, what attracted me to go was the setting and atmosphere I saw from the photos.

itself. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">By the
time I arrived around 12.30PM, it was pretty packed on the main tables
(which I will admit, I love a good wooden sharing table). Since that was the
case, I opted to sit by the window. I love how everything inside the café is filled
with greenery, chilled vibe and relaxed music. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="height: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The stools by the window are very tall comparing to the low level of the table, so if you are as tall as
me (I’m 5’7) and having to work on a laptop, the hunch was beyond uncomfortable.
So I waited until most people have left after the </span>bustling busy<span style="font-family: inherit;"> lunch hour and made my way to
the long table for a more comfortable level to work from. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ordering at the till like any cafe then having a seat. I had a vegan sandwich (sourdough bread) with roasted aubergine, courgettes, harissa, tahini, garlic sauce and salad. It says salad on the menu but I was given some pickled veggies, along with a black coffee as always. Not going to lie, but the coffee I had was slightly to the sour taste, maybe an over burn of the coffee beans? Or maybe I was having a fussy day where I need a good coffee to get me going for the rest of the day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After moving from the window seat to a more human level to work from, having too many coffees is never good for any one. I debated to myself at the counter staring at the drink list board, finally ordered a Chai Tea Latte in the end to stop myself from going hyper-overactive on caffeine. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The makeup I've been wearing the most this January is this Mauvey look. I do tend to stick to very matte colours during the winter seasons, however, with special occasions, I do tend to do the very normal gold and bronzey look to have that bit of sparkle. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know all the makeup products have already been listed above but it maybe easier to see what I've used again so here they are:<br /><br />Foundation : Cover FX Custom Cover Drops</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Highlighter : Fenty Shimmer Skin Stick (Confetti)<br />Contour : Becca LIght Sculpting Perfector & Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Eyeshadow : Laroc Pro Palette</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Eyeliner : Chanel Stylo Yeun Waterproof Pencil (Brown)<br />[only on the top eyeline and waterline]</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mascara : L'Oreal Miss Baby Roll Waterproof</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Eyebrow : Bobbi Brown Brown Natural Brow (Auburn)<br />Lipstick : Nars Powermatte Lip Pigment (Walk The Way)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Personally, I tend to use powder only on the T-zone areas but since it's the winter seasons, because my skin can get really dry very quickly because of having foundation on, there are times where I will just skip even having any powder on.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
From taking this day makeup to a night one, I tend to just add a winged-eyeline, darken a little of the same shades I have already used and even a red lip depending on my mood. Add a little more powder contouring to deepen the colour slightly as most of the colour might have already come off for the day. </div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Happy New Year Everyone!<br />
<br />
This is generally not the start of a new year post I would do.<br />
Normally, I do a Christmas wish list and present help list but last year, it just seemed to me that presents were not the most important thing but spending time with loved ones and have time to yourself (myself in this case) for once.<br />
SO! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hopefully, you will all forgive me for being MIA for a while.<br />
Fresh start of the year has already made me plan to write more.<br />
<br />
As spook as I can get from a horror movie, I've braved the new year to watch The Exorcist play at the Phoenix Theatre in London over the weekend. For someone like me who is generally horrified by the sound and word of "horror" in movies, somehow, the stage play wasn't too bad! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was a last minute impromptu kind of decision to go watch it on the day and prices were not bad at all for 15 pounds a ticket each. Mind you, seating selection can differ depending on the price range you're willing to spend.<br />
<br />
Nevertheless (going back to topic), the play itself was not as scary as the movie itself so if you're going to brave it as watch it. I'd say go ahead and give it a go. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
