Sweet Corn Tempura

KFC - Korean Friend Cauliflower
I also had the Jumbo Ozaki
Just a little above Man Mo Temple or even right at the end of the road from the top entrance of PMQ, you'll find a little restaurant called Yard Bird. An Izakaya styled restaurant serving mainly skewered chicken (yakitori) grilled over Binchotan charcoal. Part into two levels, the top with the main bar area and the kitchen at the lower level.

One of my favorite is definitely the Sweet Corn Tempura! Maybe it's just the fact the I just love sweetcorn itself. We actually thought we would be having Oysters, since they did have other choices of meat like the Pork Belly which was just as delicious. Actually, it was Oyster Chicken not the seafood oyster. When the waiter first served us the KFC, we thought we've ordered some weird pork balls by mistake but it turned out to be cauliflower. It doesn't look like the original bland, with no flavor vegetable you're use to seeing huh? Took us a little surprise as well. Overall, food will always be nice when you have great company. There's no doubt about that! The only downer point about being seated at the lower level, is when it got a bit too smokey indoors, because of all the grilling going on in the kitchen. Kind of made my eyes watery like I had happy tears.

No reservations! So first come first ones they will serve!
All you need is good company and good food.
And maybe head over to Soho for some drinks later on too.
