Red & White Fleet : Bridge 2 Bridge

Red & White Fleet : Bridge 2 Bridge

After a spot of lunch, we went for the Red and White Fleet Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise. Sailing under the obvious Golden Gate Bridge to the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. It was a stunning afternoon to view the two spectacular skyline of San Francisco too.

Funny how their address is Pier 43½ at Fisherman's Wharf. Does remind you of Harry Potter's Platform 9¾ at Kings Cross right?

Got my headphones on and started to listen to the history before this massive flag decided to hit me in the face while I was taking a photo of the SS Jeremiah O'Brien when the cruise started to head off to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Didn't have enough time during the trip to tour around Alcatraz Island, having done a little more research into it, there is both a Day and Night tour. There's quite a few strict rules when you visit Alcatraz Island, so be sure to check their website (click here) when you plan your visit there. Once a military fort, prison and now a tourist attraction. Couldn't help but imagine the notorious criminals' ghosts would still haunt the island right?

For some, it's best to have two feet back on ground, since Boudin's Bakery was just right across the road, we thought we might as well head in and take a rest before we decided to do anything else for the rest of the late afternoon.
