Westside Little Italia | Atlanta

Westside in the Eastside.

Couldn't get anymore home styled than Little Italy in Atlanta, Antico

Very causal, family friendly and the next best thing, it's self serve as you'd be like when you're home.
As long as you order within their restaurant, you can sit anywhere you'd like.

We ended up sitting at the Chicken Amalfitano because there was enough space to fit us all, including the four fabulous piping hot pizzas too.

Picked up our pizzas and off we went to order some delicious pastas and salads to go along with the meal.

Left to Right:
Verdura | Napoletana | Vesuvio | Diavola

Want to go somewhere else but not far for a dessert?
No problemo.

Right across the street is already Caffe Antico.
Gelato anyone?!

The American Civil Rights | Global Human Rights

Right opposite to the Coca Cola Factory is the new Centre of Civil & Human Rights.
Completely new along with the Hall of Fame for College Football. I've already written a short post about it, go check it out if you want (click here)

The centre holds 3 major galleries for American Civil Rights Movement, The Global Human Rights Movement and last but not least, The Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection.

Funny how peace is always spoken out loud but actions can only be taken slowly.

Personally, it is a place to visit yourself to understand fully of it's content and here, I share just a few photos and moments during the tour.

All you need to know

After visiting the Center of Civil and Human Rights, we went on a drive to the area which Martin Luther King, Jr. grew up in Atlanta too. There is also a National Historic Site dedicated to Dr. King.

I'm not paid to say this but if you do visit Atlanta Down Town, definitely consider the Atlanta CityPASS for touring around the top 5 attractions.

STATS | 33030313

The ultimate place to have a sporting event, by that means, eating and watching a game with an endless flow of drinks. Even with bar tabs on the table to pour your own pint too. Can't get any better than that on a night out watching a game with some mates.

Well! As for us, broad day light. Don't think we'll be doing that just yet even though we were very tempted...!

Nachos and Buffalo Wings is something that we never miss out on when we are in America either.
Add that with the famous peach ice tea of Atlanta! #yummyinmytummy

THE BIG WIN!

I had the EL SANTO with sweet potato fries.
When in the states, I do love having some good old sweet potato fries. It's something I have to have at least one of the meals during the trip!!

KUNG FUUUUUU RIBS
Don't think we were smashing or kicking anything at the end of the meal but belly full instead.

Booking to watch the Super Bowls next time?!

Hall of Fame | College Football

Atlanta is very well known for art, music, museum of Martin Luther King. Jr., many American brands' head quarters are based in this city, the list goes on. Now, the Hall of Fame for College Football.

Apparently everyone becomes a fan.
If you're in a college or university with a football team in America, you can register yourself and support your school team.

All the helmets represent each college's football team.

Attempting...
It's harder than it looks when you don't know how to hold it properly...
I got to admit, personally, I do prefer rugby but it's not as easy as it looks.

What I wore on the day:
Topshop Top | Zara Trousers | Nike Trainers
Jill Scott Crossbody Bag | Matthew Williamson Sunnies

In the museum, you'll get to see how American Football has evolved over the years since it became one of a national favorite sport.

Along with all the coaches and team players over the years.

If that doesn't interest you, there's always Chick-fil-A right next door.

Porsche HQ | 356

Yes. Porsche has their own road.
Right next to the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the new Head Quarters for North America Porsche opens with their Experience Center on One Porsche Drive

I'm not sponsored to write this post but it was a place even I couldn't resist not going.

As enthusiastic as my aunt can be, she was the one who found out about the new Porsche HQ and there's really no place like it. High security system checking each person's identifications, and without any reservations, there's no passing through at all. We were at the gate trying to tell the security staff we had a restaurant reservation for lunch (which took a long while). YES. Porsche's restaurant called "356"

Well! We didn't have enough time to do a test drive BUT! we were hungry for food.

If you like cider that much, you might think this will taste like fizzy apple juice.

CHEERS!

Whilst waiting for the food after the drinks arrived, I couldn't help but watch some people test driving on the tracks. As lucky as we were too! There were a group of businessmen who happened to have a tour and went for the driving experience.

Georgia Peach Salad
Georgia itself is famous for Peaches!!
Can't be here and not have any!

Shrimp Caesar
Sea Scallops
Kobe Beef Burger
Braised Pork Jowl
Pork Jowl = Pork Cheeks

Mussels and Clams
2015 Porsche Colour
Sapphire Blue Metallic

Went into the shop and managed to come out with a polo shirt.
I use to have one of these but it said "Parking ONLY for Italians"
HA!

We didn't end up getting to drive a Porsche away but definitely coming back to test drive on the track next time when we have more time!
